More Info:

Against all odds Kalie gave birth to rare identical triplets; Gavin, Brodin and Trevin. They were delivered on May 20th, 2008 at Rockford Memorial Hospital after surviving twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a rare and dangerous defect of the placenta. After weeks in the NICU they were finally all home. Then shortly after the boys turned 1, Kalie’s husband Joshua, 33, a volunteer firefighter, Iraq war veteran, and wonderful father of their 15 month old triplet boys, died August 2nd after a 5 day fight for his life after a tragic motorcycle accident on the ramp from Route 52 to I-290.

Kalie is not only left dealing with the loss of her husband, and taking care of the 3 young boys by herself. She is now facing the mounting hospital bills from the birth of their triplets, and her husband, Josh’s, 5 day stay in the ICU. Like most of us no one can see what the future holds. Unfortunately, Kalie and Josh had no life insurance policies.

Springfield Parent Of Twins Club is hosting this trivia night as a fundraiser to help lift some of the financial burden and provide some peace for her and her family.
