Weekend Trivia

There’s Friday night trivia tonight at the KC Hall (West) presented by the Springfield Ski Club, and benefitting the Red Cross.  Beware, purists…there will be Mulligans.

Tomorrow night, Allen Reyne will be hosting a sold-out event at the Firefighters’ Lake Club.  These are always a good time, but if you want to play this one, you’ll have to find a short-handed team and sit in.  Also, if you find yourself in Scott County with nothing to do tomorrow, the Bluffs Senior Class is running a trivia night at the high school.

I also heard that Children’s Miracle Network is running an event tomorrow night, but I don’t have any details and nobody submitted anything here.  If you know anything about it, fill us in.

On a side note, I love checking the site stats and seeing the search terms people use to get here.  A large number of visitors find the site by searching for “Trivia Night Categories” and head straight for the Used Rounds page.  Some of the IP addresses are located in Springfield, so I’m looking forward to the day when I get to play one of my old categories at a trivia night.  🙂

Have fun this weekend, wherever you play.

The CMN event is at the Dove Conference Center at St. John’s on Saturday; it starts at 7.

There’s also a trivia event tonight (Friday) benefiting the Westminster Presbyterian Co-op.

Hey, Russ…I want to hear about it when you play one of your own categories (hopefully I’m on your team). I’m guessing most of them are just brainstorming category ideas though. When I first started writing questions for trivia nights, that’s how I did it. I’d find an interesting category and tweak it to something similar, then come up with my own questions.
