FIVE (make that 6) for the Weekend!

I’m not sure we’ve ever had 5 6 different trivia nights scheduled for the same night here before. This weekend will be the peak of the season so far, for sure.

Starting on the North side, the Kof C 4175 Women’s Auxiliary is hosting an event at 2801 West Street. If you’re planning on playing this one, make sure you call in your RSVP (525-1149 or 899-7281), because there will not be room for walk-ins.

Moving downtown, the Trivia Night Benefitting St. John’s Children’s Hospital will be held at the Dove Conference Center at the Prairie Heart Institute located next to St. John’s Hospital. This is a great venue for trivia.

Heading out to the other KC Hall, the UIS Accountancy program is hosting an event on Meadowbrook. Prize money to the first place team. Unfortunately, they didn’t leave an RSVP number or email address.

Heading down Rt. 4, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the Chatham Junior Women’s Club are co-sponsoring a trivia night at St. Joseph’s. Gary and Mary Ann Stremsterfer, fixtures of the Springfield trivia scene are presenting the trivia. You won’t hear a bad question when Gary is in charge. The proceeds are benefiting charities and community projects.

Finally, further down Rt. 4, there will be a trivia night at the Auburn High School gym to benefit the AHS Drama Club. Folks in the southern part of the county, who can’t always make it into Springfield for a trivia night, here’s your chance. Call Kim Ladage at 217-438-6817 for more information.

UPDATE: Yet another trivia night has been added to the schedule! The Pleasant Plains Historical Society is hosting a trivia night at Clayville on Saturday. Contact Dan Usherwood at 217-691-4533 for more information.

So there’s no shortage of trivia this weekend. If that’s still not enough choices for you, there are 11 events in the St. Louis area. Enjoy!
