Victory in Chatham

I got to sit in with some of the folks from my first ‘regular’ team last Friday night at St. Joseph’s Church in Chatham for a fundraiser for the Sangamon County Xplosion softball team.   We ended up squeaking out a first place finish out of about 20 teams.  The categories were entertaining and the only real issue was the usual for St. Joe’s – the squelchy sound system.

We did learn that all of the questions came from FunTrivia.com – a risky move that resulted in at least one obvious blooper that had Harry Caray calling Cubs games for 4 decades (he joined the Cubs in ’81 and died in ’97).  Overall, a good time – of course it always helps when you win.
