Proceeds to benefit the Morgan County Right to Life organization
The Morgan County Right to Life will host “Trivia Showdown,” a team-based trivia competition, on Friday, February 20, at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 320 E. State Street in Jacksonville.
Local Abraham Lincoln presenter Greg Bergschneider will serve as the master of ceremonies.
Teams are invited to arrive starting at 6:00 p.m. The trivia competition starts at 7:00 p.m.
A babysitting program for children ages 10 and under will be available at a cost of $5.00 per child for the evening.
Teams can be a minimum of four players up to a maximum of 12. The entry fee is $10.00 per person up to a maximum of $100.00 per table.
A first prize for the winning team will be awarded representing 10% of the gate (total of registration fees). A second prize of 5% of the gate will also be awarded. Additional raffles and prize drawings will also be held.
Refreshment sales will include a potato bar for $3.00 as well as a variety of desserts. Both soft drinks and adult libations are available from KC staff.
